A chef who comes to your kitchen a few days a week and leaves the fridge full, or cooks for the household every day. Menus agreed with you first; all food fully cooked.
How private chef services work
We start with a conversation about the household: who is eating, what they like, any allergies or dietary needs, and how often you want the chef. The chef visits your kitchen before the first session to see the equipment and agree the menu. Sessions are then booked in a regular pattern, typically three visits a week of around five hours, or daily for households that want every meal cooked fresh.
Cook-and-leave
The chef cooks a set of meals in your kitchen, labels and stores them, and leaves the kitchen clean. Household members reheat and serve themselves through the week. This is the most popular arrangement for families and busy professionals.
Food, produce and equipment
Zolt provides the chef’s time and the equipment that travels with the chef. Produce is arranged directly between the household and the chef, so you keep control of what is bought and where. All food is served fully cooked.
Cuisines and dietary needs
Home-style British and European cooking, Indian, Asian and Mediterranean menus, plant-based, gluten-free and allergy-aware cooking. Menus are agreed in writing before the first session.

Every shift runs to a task list your head chef or manager signs off at the end.
One weekly invoice
Chefs are employed and paid by Zolt. You receive a single invoice for signed-off hours.

Are private chefs vetted?
Yes. Every private chef is interviewed by a working head chef, reference-checked and has completed shifts with Zolt before being placed in a household.
Can the chef cook for dinner parties as well?
Yes. Occasional dinners and events in the home can be booked alongside the regular pattern.
How is it charged?
By the hour at a rate agreed in writing before the first session, invoiced weekly or monthly as you prefer.
